Quilts of Valour - Canada Society is a non profit organization that recognizes the sacrifices of injured CAF members past and present by the presentation of a Quilt of Valour™. Recently Quilts of Valour - Canada Society has created a board structure with the goal of expanding the organization’s ability to better serve the needs of deserving CAF members across Canada. As a direct participant in honouring injured CAF members past and present you will play an active part in this important mission

As part of our growth strategy we are looking to fill executive positions that will contribute in a significant way to our goals. All executive positions are voluntary. Our current organization is comprised of individuals with a strong commitment, passion and dedication to the mission of Quilts of Valour - Canada Society. Our motivation and reward are the positive impact that we are able to make to military personnel that have given willingly so much to all Canadians.

All volunteer staff are expected to:

  • Understand the the Society mission
  • Represent & promote the Society and its mission
  • Be willing to learn
  • Communicate effectively and reliably with email
  • Be familiar with policy & procedures & the website information
  • Refrain from promoting political, religious opinions or their professional business
  • Retain the current contact information for all staff members

Candidates should possess:

  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Be organized and understand basic management skills
  • Ability to motivate and encourage others
  • Computer skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets and internet browsing

We are currently seeking candidates for the following position(s).

Regional Representative


  • Recruit individual volunteers, members, local groups, quilt shop owners, and quilt guilds for participation in the Society
  • Build a network of contacts throughout their area of responsibility.
  • Communicate with contacts regularly via email, phone conversations, and personal contact.
  • Accurately communicate the Society’s policies and procedures to local groups and volunteer members in their area of responsibility.
  • Work with the Society staff and other Representatives to fulfill requests for QOV's™ in their area.
  • Communicate with other Representatives and Executive staff as needed or required.
  • Reply to all Society communications within 48 business hours.

Fund raising Coordinator


  • Attending board and executive meetings
  • organizing and coordinating fund raising campaigns once approved by the board
  • supporting regional representatives with all information and documents for the fundraising campaign
